- I am not very fit and wonder if I can do it?
You should not have a problem participating but it is really a matter of attitude. If you are willing to hang in there when the going gets tough, to go beyond your comfort zone, you will achieve exceptional results. The program is geared for varying abilities - you do as many of an exercise as you can, you jog at your own pace, you leap as tall a building as you can leap. We will give you all the confidence you need to achieve your goals, all you have to do is show up and give us 100% effort - it is that easy.
We encourage you to let your registration into Boot Camp inspire you to get ready prior to camp - we'll provide suggestions for how to best prepare once we receive your registration.
We guarantee that by the end of the session you will feel awesome - from head to toes, inside and out. Your energy will be soaring, your spirit and confidence recharged, and you will have the tools and knowledge to keep right on going. What do you have to lose but a few pounds and some lame excuses why you can't participate in activities that you have been putting off.
- I am one lean mean machine already; will I get something out of the Camp?
Absolutely. At Boot Camp we emphasize that each participant work within their ability, and that you ‘push the envelope’ and stretch your comfort level so that you will see improvement – FAST !Boot Camp is intense, it’s exhausting, but it is FUN and you will see results. We’ll rotate through every part of your body, mixing in strength, explosive power, flexibility, balance, endurance and cardiovascular fitness.
- What if I don’t like it? Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We guarantee that Fitness Camp will be fun and that you will see results. If you are not satisfied for any reason after participating in the first week of camp just let us know and we are happy to refund all fees paid. Please note that you need to attend the entire first week. No refunds though are given after the first week of a session.
Please note that we can not refund registration fees due to a change in work schedule or other situations that may impact your schedule. We are though happy to have you transfer to another class time or location during the same camp session if this would work better with your schedule or situation.
Note: Due to partnerships with the City of Lafayette, we will are not be able to offer our satisfaction guarantee for our Lafayette OUTDOOR camps. Also, please refer to the cancellation poilicy for each specific camp location as they can vary.
- Do I have to go everyday?
Since you asked… no, you don’t have to go everyday. But if you really think that you can not make the commitment to attend all sessions then you may not be ready to make the commitment to give your all to such an experience. Do realize though that your Campmates are pulling for you to be there every day; you don’t want to let them down do you?
- Can I make-up a class if I miss a class or two?
We of course want you to attend camp every day. But we realize that life and work sometimes makes that impossible and we are happy to have you make-up two classes. These make-up classes can be taken during a future camp session at any of our camp locations or class times; just let your trainer know 2 days in advance when scheduling your make-up classes. For campers that are attending Boot Camp for two or more sessions in a row, four classes can be made up.
Remember that you are also welcome to attend any of our classes or locations - so if you have an early morning meeting that would conflict with your normal camp class maybe a later class that same day might work better for you.
If you know in advance that you will be missing one third or more of a session, please contact us in advance so we can make an arrangement so you are not paying for missed time.
In short, we are happy to work around your schedule as we prefer to have you attend as many classes as possible during the session that you are registered for.
- What if it rains or snows?
It doesn't happen too often but anything is possible in Colorado. We will meet in most cases but if the weather is really rainy, icy or snowy and we do cancel a class a message will be left on a special message service at least 45 minutes before camp. Class will be rescheduled on an upcoming off-camp day at the same time of the class [Tuesday or Thursday for our MWF camp sessions, Monday, Wednesday or Friday for our T/TH camps].
During April, May and September for a specific camp or two, we may have set up the possibility of holding class at an indoor studio in the case of inclement weather. Please refer to our specific camp schedule to see what classes have this option.
